The past few weeks...I have been reminded of how sweet the simple things in our lives are to us! It is my first morning coffee, my sweet Zakie calling..."mommy"...first thing in the morning, Sam's kisses, to see my garden come to life, the anticipation of Carlyle coming home in the afternoon, my kids pretending they are going to Africa:). It is the day to day that can become mundane...but really, that is what makes our lives. To take a step back and notice the little pieces that are woven together to make us...it is a good thing!
